Almost every store sells canned peaches in syrup. Unfortunately, they are not cheap, and the taste pleases little. It is better to buy fresh fruit and prepare the preservation yourself. I share a great recipe.
Ingredients
- Peaches - 2 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Citric acid - on the tip of the knife
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the peaches in half and peel the seeds.
Fill sterilized jars with peach halves.
Pour boiling water, cover with lids and leave to warm up for 30 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, citric acid and boil for 3 minutes.
Pour boiling syrup into jars, roll up and turn upside down.
