Another recipe for connoisseurs of Georgian cuisine. Yellow cherry plum sauce will delight with sweet and sour taste and beautiful sunny color! In addition, it is very well stored. Cook it in season and be sure that it will be delicious even in a year!
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum (yellow) – 1 kg
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Cilantro - 3 twigs
- Parsley - 3 twigs
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 25 g
- Vinegar - 2 art.l.
- Water - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick the cherry plum and rinse it under running water.
Pour cold water and boil for 20 minutes on low heat.
Drain the water, cool the cherry plum slightly and rub through a sieve to remove the bones and peel.
Mix the resulting puree with sugar, salt, water and finely chopped herbs. Simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.
Add vinegar, garlic passed through the press and simmer for another 2 minutes.
Arrange the hot sauce in clean, dry jars and roll up.
