I've always loved experimenting with unusual ingredients for jam, and this time I decided to try to make it from zucchini with cherry plum. It turned out that this unusual combination turned into a real hit, which I will cook more than once for the winter. And I offer you!
Ingredients
- Zucchini - 1 kg
- Cherry plum - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1.5-2 kg
- Vanillin - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and randomly slice the zucchini. Cover with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.
Pour a couple of spoonfuls of water to the cherry plum, simmer until soft and rub through a sieve.
Mix the cherry plum, zucchini and sugar.
Bring to a boil and cook the jam for about 30 minutes, stirring.
Towards the end, add vanilla and roll the jam into sterile jars.
