In addition to salads and simple canned vegetables, I always make a couple of jars of preparations for borscht for the winter. Here is a practically ready-made version, already with beets and carrots, will significantly save time on cooking in the future. Also young vegetables.
Ingredients
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the onion, grate the carrot and beetroot.
Add oil and a third of vinegar, pour in water and simmer everything together for 15 minutes.
Chop the tomatoes with a blender and pour in the rest of the vegetables.
Add all remaining ingredients.
Simmer the borscht dressing for an hour on low heat.
Roll it up in sterilized jars.
