Have you harvested overgrown cucumbers? I have a great option for their use — cucumbers in Finnish for the winter. The recipe is simple, without sterilization and takes up to half an hour. With the addition of onions and herbs, the vegetables turn out fragrant and very tasty!

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers - 2,5 kg
  • Onion - 400 g
  • Greenery (any) – 50 g
  • Vinegar - 200 ml
  • Black Pepper - 10 peas
  • Sugar - 220 g
  • Salt - 100 g
  • Water - 2 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Chop cucumbers, herbs and peeled onions.

Boil water, add black pepper, sugar, salt, onion, cucumbers and herbs.

Boil for 10 minutes from the moment of re-boiling.

Pour in the vinegar, remove from the heat and close in the prepared jars.
