If you need to cook soup for a festive table, I advise you to opt for a hodgepodge. And to make it more interesting, add some capers. A hearty and flavorful dish will appeal to your guests. In addition, such a hodgepodge looks very nice in plates!
Ingredients
- Sausages - 300 g
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Cucumbers (salty) – 2 pieces
- Olives (without a bone) – 100 g
- Capers - 3 art.l.
- Onion - 1 piece
- Tomato paste - 3 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Meat broth - 2 l
- Parsley - 4 twigs
- Lemon (for submission) – half
- Sour cream (for submission) – 150 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the sausages, pickles, parsley, peeled onions and potatoes.
Fry the onion and sausages until golden brown in a hot frying pan with oil.
Add tomato paste, 200 ml of broth and simmer for 7 minutes. Pour cucumbers, potatoes and roast into the boiling broth. Boil everything together for 10 minutes.
Add olives and capers. Cover and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add salt, pepper, sprinkle with herbs and remove from heat. Insist the hodgepodge under the lid for 15 minutes.
When serving, add lemon and a spoonful of cold sour cream to the plate.
