Canned compote is a great way to keep a supply of vitamins and minerals for the winter period. I prefer to cook it from different types of fruits and berries to get the maximum benefit. No pharmacy supplements can compare with ripe apples and cranberries in cans.
Ingredients
- Apples - 300 g
- Cranberries - 200 g
- Cinnamon - 1 wand
- Sugar - 250 g
- Water - 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the apples into slices and put them with cranberries in a sterile jar.
Add cinnamon and pour boiling water.
Leave for 15 minutes under the lid.
Drain this water, add sugar to it and boil it again.
Pour back into the jar and roll up the compote.
