Did you know that fish soup can also be cooked with dumplings? Not even just possible, but necessary! It's very simple, fast and most importantly — delicious. You can use any fish: river, sea or make a mix of different ones. And in order not to waste time on cutting, buy ready-made sirloin pieces.

Ingredients

For soup:
  • Fish (fillet) – 400 g
  • Potatoes - 250 g
  • Carrots - 1 piece
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
  • Black Pepper - 2 peas
  • Bay leaf - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water (purified) – 2.5 l
For dumplings:

Cut the fish into medium-sized pieces, rinse and fill with cold water.

Add one peeled onion, bay leaf, black pepper and cook for 15 minutes after boiling.

Potatoes, peel and slice the second onion. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Pour potatoes into a saucepan, roast and cook for 5 minutes.

Sift flour into a separate bowl, add egg, salt and ground black pepper.

Pour in 50 ml of hot fish broth and mix thoroughly until smooth.

With a dessert spoon, type the dough and lower it into the boiling soup. Cook everything together for 7 minutes.

Add salt, squeeze garlic through a press, turn off and leave under the lid for 10 minutes.
