Winter preparations are a limitless space for imagination. Even a melon that is completely atypical in conservation can be prepared in a variety of ways. Including rolling in jars in syrup. I'm telling you how to do it!

Ingredients

  • Melon - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 250 g
  • Citric acid - 2-3 pinches

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the melon into pieces, put it in soda-washed jars and pour boiling water over it. Leave it on for 10 minutes.

Drain this water, add sugar and citric acid to it, and bring it to a boil again.

Pour the syrup over the melon for another 10 minutes.

Drain it again and boil it.

Fill the melon and roll up the lids for the winter.
