Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 2 kg
- Cherry leaves - 100 g
- Vanilla pod - 1 piece
- Sugar - 1,5 kg
- Citric acid - at the tip of the knife
- Vodka - 50 ml
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the gooseberries from dry tails and pour cold water for 4 hours.
Fill the cherry leaves with water, boil for 5 minutes and cool to room temperature.
Cut the vanilla pod in half, select the seeds and mix with sugar.
Strain the broth, add fragrant sugar and simmer for 1 minute.
Remove the pan from the heat, cool slightly and add vodka.
Pour in the gooseberry berries, cover with a lid and leave for 20 minutes.
Put the pan on medium heat and boil for 10 minutes.
Add citric acid, boil for 3 minutes and roll up.
