In this recipe, the tartness of the thorn is revealed in a completely new way. It blends harmoniously with the rest of the ingredients and emphasizes the rich sweet and sour taste. The sauce of blackthorn and tomatoes is recommended to be served with meat and fish.
Ingredients
- Turn - 3 kg
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Cilantro - 5 twigs
- Ground coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Allspice - 5 peas
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 30 ml
- Water - 500 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the hot pepper lengthwise, peel from the seeds and finely chop.
Peel the tomatoes and place them in a blender bowl.
Add cilantro, peeled garlic cloves and chop everything together.
Turn over and rinse under running water.
Pour cold water, add bay leaf, allspice, hot pepper and cook for 20 minutes.
Add sugar, salt, ground coriander and ingredients crushed in a blender. Languish for another 15 minutes.
Wipe the resulting mass through a metal sieve.
Add vinegar, heat over low heat for a minute and pour into prepared containers.
