You definitely need to stock up on this preservation for the winter! Pepper in tomato sauce is a universal preparation for all occasions. Add it to soup, stew, shakshuka or just put it on the table. In all cases it will be very tasty.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper - 2 kg
- Tomatoes - 1,5 kg
- Garlic - 50 g
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Allspice - 2 peas
- Vegetable oil - 200 ml
- Vinegar - 80 ml
- Sugar - 80 g
- Salt - 60 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pass tomatoes through a juicer.
Mix the resulting juice with salt, sugar and spices. Boil for 15 minutes on low heat.
Prepare the bell pepper, peel from the seeds, cut into medium slices.
Lightly fry the pepper in vegetable oil.
Pour the fried pepper into the boiling tomato juice, add the garlic passed through the press and cook for 15 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, put it in jars and roll it up.
