How nice it is to enjoy the fresh flavors of summer in winter! My favorite way to preserve them is to make salads for the winter. Today I want to share with you a recipe for a salad with pollock and vegetables. It has a bright and fresh taste, and it is ideal for those who like something unusual.
Ingredients
- Pollock - 3 kg
- Tomatoes - 3 kg
- Onion - 1 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 1 kg
- Tomato sauce - 1 l
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Vinegar - 1.5 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the tomatoes through a meat grinder and chop the rest of the vegetables.
Boil the pollock until tender in salted water and disassemble the fish into pieces, separating from the bones.
Lightly fry the onion, carrot and pepper. Add the tomatoes and bring to a boil.
Add the rest of the ingredients except vinegar, simmer the salad for 15 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar and simmer for another 15 minutes.
Roll the salad into clean, dry jars.
