A couple of cans of solyanka will help out when you want something solid in winter, but there will be no time for cooking. I have a couple of different favorite recipes, and one of them is this kind of pickle from sauerkraut. Plus, its preparation requires almost no effort, although it takes time.
Ingredients
- Sauerkraut - 2 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Pickled cucumbers - 5 pieces
- Onion - 500 g
- Mushrooms - 2 kg
- Vegetable oil - 500 ml
- Tomato sauce - 1 glass
- Vinegar - 0.5 glasses
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Salt - 2 handfuls
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Lightly rinse and squeeze the cabbage.
Boil the mushrooms for 15 minutes in boiling water and chop.
Chop the onion, grate the carrots and grate the cucumbers.
Simmer the cabbage in a spoonful of oil for 20 minutes.
Add the remaining butter and all the other ingredients.
Simmer the hodgepodge for about an hour on low heat and roll it into sterilized jars.
