The season of pears passes very quickly, and in winter their cost is too high. Fortunately, there is an excellent recipe for canned pears. Pieces of fruit can be served for dessert or added to pastries, and the syrup makes an amazing tea.

Ingredients

  • Pear - 3 kg
  • Cinnamon - 1 wand
  • Sugar - 350 g
  • Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water - 3 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Prepare the pears, peel the seeds, cut into medium pieces.

Put pears and a broken cinnamon stick in jars.

Boil water, add sugar and citric acid.

Pour boiling syrup into jars, sterilize for 20 minutes and roll up.
