There are several ways to make gooseberry jam without seeds. I will share with you my favorite option. The berries are pre-blanched and then rubbed through a sieve. Yes, it's not quite easy, but in the end it turns out very tasty!
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 2 kg
- Sugar - 1,2 kg
- Lemon juice - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Blanch the gooseberries for 2 minutes in boiling water.
Put the berries in a colander, cool and rub through a sieve.
Add sugar and boil for 10 minutes.
Pour in the lemon juice and after 2 minutes put it in jars. Roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it up with a warm blanket.
