Unlike ordinary jam, dry rather resembles candied fruits, and is prepared according to the same principle. Dry jam made from pears has become especially popular – it tastes great and is just as great a treat for tea. I share the secret of how to cook everything correctly.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the pears and boil them lightly so that they can be pierced with a needle.

Let the pears dry, and boil the broth with sugar until the syrup is thick.

Put the pears on a baking sheet and put them in the oven at 70 degrees for half an hour.

Dip each pear into the syrup, holding it by the tail, and roll the fruits in sugar.

Put them back in the oven to dry out.

Repeat this procedure 3-4 times.

Finally dry the pears in a slightly open oven at 45 degrees for 8-10 hours.
