Sauerkraut has been familiar to everyone since childhood, but even it can be beaten in a new way. For example, make it with the addition of green tomatoes. It will be much more original and interesting. I am happy to share a recipe that my grandmother prepared for the winter.
Ingredients
- Green tomatoes - 600 g
- Cabbage - 400 g
- Carrots - 100 g
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 4 art.l.
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Dill - 30 g
- Garlic - 4 of the clove
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots, chop the dill with garlic and cut the tomatoes in half.
Randomly put everything in a sterile jar.
Pour boiling water and leave for 20 minutes on the lid.
Drain this water into a saucepan, boil again and pour the vegetables for another 20 minutes.
Drain the water again, boil it with sugar and salt, and add vinegar.
Pour the vegetables again and roll up.
