Of all the variations of salads with cabbage for the winter - this one will surely appeal to fans of spicy. And the secret is very simple: garlic, chili pepper and spices. Otherwise, even a novice cook can cope with this recipe.
Ingredients
- Cabbage - 1 kg
- Water - 750 ml
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l .
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Chili pepper - 1 pod
- Garlic - 1 head
- Salt - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 75 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots on a Korean grater and finely chop the chili with garlic.
Mix the vegetables and mash them slightly with your hands.
Add oil, salt, bay leaf and pepper to the water, bring to a boil and pour in the vinegar. Remove the marinade from the heat and leave for 10 minutes under the lid.
Pour the marinade over the vegetables and leave them under the lid in the heat for a day. Arrange the cabbage salad into jars.
