I have always liked Japanese cuisine, but visiting restaurants is a luxurious pleasure. Therefore, the best solution was to experiment. So, I tried to make a Japanese dessert mochi. Sweet rice flour dough, filling for every taste - that's what I'm talking about.
Ingredients
- Rice flour - 100 gr
- Powdered sugar - 50 gr
- Water - 180 gr
- Corn Starch - 40 gr
- Cottage cheese - 100 gr
- Condensed milk - 50 gr
- Strawberries - 50 gr
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Start cooking this dessert with the filling. To do this, mix the curd cheese with condensed milk and beat with a mixer. Cut the strawberries if you have a large one. Small strawberries can be used whole.
Prepare the dough. Pour water into a deep bowl and mix it with flour, sugar and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth.
Put the dough in the microwave for 2 minutes. Remove and mix, put it back in the microwave for 2 minutes and repeat. As soon as the dough becomes thick, you can form mochi.
Pour cornstarch on the table, put the dough and roll it out. Use the forming ring to cut out the shape. Put the cheese filling in the middle of each tortilla, then strawberries. Gather the edges in the center to close the filling, and form a ball.
Put the mochi on a platter and garnish with berries.
