You probably have repeatedly seen spectacular red cakes in a variety of cakes. Today I propose to cook them yourself, and assemble an amazing homemade sour cream from them. And don't let the bright shade frighten you: there is nothing harmful in it.
Ingredients
For cakes:
- Flour - 2.5 glasses
- Sugar - 1.5 glasses
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Vegetable oil - 1.5 glasses
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Cocoa - 1 tsp.
- Food coloring (gel) – 1 art.l.
- Baking soda (slaked) – 1 tsp.
- Vanillin - 1 pinch
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
For cream:
- Sour cream (bold) – 500 g
- Condensed milk - 100 g
- Powdered sugar - 3 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix all the dry ingredients for the dough.
Beat eggs with kefir and butter. Add the dye and slaked soda.
Combine both masses and knead the dough.
Pour everything into the mold and bake for about 55 minutes at 180 degrees.
When the biscuit cools down, cut it into cakes.
Beat sour cream with powdered sugar with a mixer.
Continuing to beat, add condensed milk.
Smear the cakes with cream, collect the sour cream and send it to the refrigerator.
