Berry and fruit marshmallows quickly become familiar – everything is clear and predictable here. And what if I tell you that you can also make vegetable marshmallows? Carrots are ideal, but be sure to choose juicy and sweet root vegetables. Young people are best of all.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Squeeze the carrot juice in any way and strain. You need 50 ml.

Peel and slice the apples. Bake until soft in the oven or in the microwave.

Beat the apples with a blender and mix with sugar.

Cook the puree over low heat until thickened.

Soak the gelatin in carrot juice.

Whisk the whites to persistent peaks and mix with applesauce.

Add lemon juice and gelatin, mix everything again and pour into the mold.

Send it to the refrigerator until it hardens, cut the marshmallows and, if desired, roll them in powdered sugar.
