It was especially often prepared in monasteries, because the pastille can be consumed even during lent. Now it is a popular healthy and very tasty treat for tea. Sharing a cherry recipe!
Ingredients
- Cherry - 1 kg
- Sugar (or sweetener) – 200 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the cherry and bring it to a boil.
Simmer for 5 minutes and add sugar or substitute to taste.
Boil everything together for another 7-10 minutes on low heat.
Beat the mass with a blender and put a thin layer on parchment.
Dry the pastille for 5-6 hours in the dryer according to the instructions or in a slightly open oven at a minimum temperature.
