Why buy mochi in a pastry shop if dessert is easy to prepare yourself. Most recipes use a microwave, but you can do without it. A little ingenuity, patience and delicious mochi will appear on your table.
Ingredients
- Rice flour (adhesive) – 100 g
- Corn Starch - 0,5 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.l .
- Water - 130 ml
- Food coloring (pink) – 1 drop
- Food coloring (purple) – 1 drop
- Powdered sugar - 2 art.l.
- Mascarpone - 120 g
- White chocolate - 80 g
- Cream - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix flour, starch and powdered sugar.
Add vegetable oil and mix thoroughly.
Divide the mass into two blanks. Add pink dye to one, and purple to the other.
Put each piece of dough separately in a saucepan, put it in a water bath and cover with cling film.
Warm up for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. As a result, the dough will turn out to be perfectly plastic. Cover with cling film and set aside to cool.
Mix mascarpone, melted chocolate and cream.
Divide the dough into small pieces, roll out each with a thin cake of small size.
Lay out a little filling and gently seal.
Roll the cake in powdered sugar and serve.
