Figs are often used in cooking, adding to appetizers, salads, desserts and second courses. I like to make fig pastille. At home, without artificial additives and flavors, it always turns out very tasty!

Ingredients

  • Fig - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 100 g
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l .

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash and peel the figs.

Chop the fruit in a blender or pass it through a meat grinder.

Add sugar and mix well.

Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, brush with vegetable oil and put the prepared puree in a 5-8 mm layer.

Dry for 6-8 hours in the oven at a temperature of 65 degrees.

Separate the finished fig pastille from the paper, cut and roll.
