This unique dessert does not require baking, is made from sticky rice flour and has many options for fillings. The homeland of mochi is Japan, but the dessert has long left the country and actively conquers the hearts of sweet tooths around the world.

- Rice flour - 300 g
- Water - 300 ml
- Sugar - 200 g
- Vanilla sugar - 16 g
- Corn Starch - 60 g
- Food Coloring - a few drops
- Ice cream - for filling
Step-by-step cooking recipe
In a non-metallic bowl, mix rice flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, add water, mix until smooth.
Cover the bowl with cling film, make a few punctures and send it to the microwave for 1.5-2 minutes at maximum power. After that, mix the dough and send it to the microwave again for 1 minute, then cool.
Sprinkle cornstarch on the table, lay out the dough, add food coloring, knead the dough with your hands.
Assemble the dough into a sausage, divide into small pieces and roll out the tortillas. Put a small ball of your favorite ice cream in the middle of each tortilla. Roll up according to the khinkali principle, give a round shape, send it to the freezer for 30 minutes.
Put the finished mochi cakes on a platter and serve to the table.
