You can make a very tasty and healthy pastille from apples for the winter. Stock up on sweet varieties of fruit and patience: the process is lengthy, but generally quite simple. Depending on the thickness of the layer, the cooking time may vary.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the apples, peel the seeds, stalks and cut into quarters.
Put it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover with foil and send it to a preheated 160 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Cool the apples slightly and rub through a sieve.
Mix the resulting puree with vanilla.
Cover the baking sheet with foil and brush with olive oil.
Lay out the apple mass in a thin layer, smooth it out and put it back in the oven.
Dry the pastille for 2.5-3 hours at a temperature of 55-60 degrees. The oven door should be slightly ajar.
Cut the dried pastille into strips and roll it up.
