Portioned dessert will always be a decoration of the festive table. I cook a Bento cake with caramel not only because of its compactness, but also because I adore caramel. The cake turns out to be amazing, insanely tender, moderately sweet, with a subtle vanilla caramel flavor.
Ingredients
- Flour - 100 g
- Sugar - 90 g
- Baking powder dough - 1 h.l.
- Vanilla sugar - 12 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Cream (33%) – 75 ml
- Sugar - 50 g
- Butter - 30 g
- Cream - 225 ml
- Cottage cheese - 500 g
- Powdered sugar - 70 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Beat 90 g of sugar to a thick foam (the rest of the sugar will come in handy later), eggs and vanilla sugar. Next, add baking powder for the dough and flour to the liquid. Beat the dough until smooth.
Prepare the oven. Turn on 180C. Spread parchment paper on a baking sheet and pour out the dough. Send it to bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Prepare the caramel. To do this, take some of the cream. You will need 75 g, the rest will go to the cream and 50 g of sugar. Mix the cream, sugar and butter and cook the caramel over medium heat until medium bubbles appear.
Prepare the cream. Whisk cream, cottage cheese and powdered sugar.
Shape the cake. Cut out circles with forming rings. I get 8 pieces. Pour the cream on the cake, make a rim and pour part of the caramel into the middle. Put the second cake on top and smear with cream. So do it with each cake, you should get 4 pieces. Serve to the table.
