Don't be intimidated by the long recipe description. Conventionally, it can be divided into three stages: the preparation of shortbread cakes, cottage cheese cream and jelly filling. So that the bananas do not have time to darken, cut them just before pouring the jelly.
Ingredients
- Butter - 200 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Flour - 400 g
- Baking powder dough - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 100 g
- Salt - on the tip of the knife
- Sour cream (25% fat content) – 350 ml
- Cottage cheese - 200 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Vanilla Essence - 2 drops
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix the sifted flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Add the crushed butter and rub with your hands until crumbs.
Add lightly beaten eggs, knead the dough and divide into two identical pieces. Cover with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll out each piece of cake, put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees. Depending on the thickness of the cake, it may take more or less time.
Beat the cooled sour cream with sugar.
Add vanilla essence and cottage cheese rubbed through a sieve. Stir until smooth.
Dilute the jelly with hot water and put it in a cool place to cool down.
Assemble the cake in a serving ring of a suitable diameter. Put the cakes on top of each other, generously smearing with cream.
Smear cream on top, arrange sliced bananas beautifully.
Carefully pour the cooled banana jelly and put the cake in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
