If you like sour cream, then you know for sure that you can cook them in different ways. One of the possible options is such a sour cream cake. This is a great choice if you don't need a full-fledged cake, or just want to try a different format.
Ingredients
- Butter - 250 g
- Sour cream (20%) – 500 ml
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 1.5 glasses
- Salt - 2 pinches
- Flour - 3 glasses
- Milk - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Whisk the melted butter, sugar and half of the sour cream.
Add the sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
Knead the dough, roll out a 10 mm layer, cut into the same small cakes with a mold or glass and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
Chop 4-5 cakes into crumbs.
Mix the remaining sour cream with milk. Add more sugar and vanilla if desired.
Moisten each cake in this impregnation and roll it in crumbs.
Assemble the cakes, smearing the cakes with the same sour cream.
