Homemade chicken nuggets can be a great alternative to street food, since you have full control over the freshness of the products and the additives that you will use for cooking. Chicken meat inside the breading remains soft and juicy.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 350 g
- Flour (wheat) – 2 tbsp.l.
- Spices and seasonings (for chicken) – 0.5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 30 ml
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Sour cream - 1 tbsp.l.
- Flour (for batter) – 2 art.l.
- Breadcrumbs - 3 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut into strips. Add salt and spices, mix. If there is time, you can leave it to marinate for half an hour in the cold.
Add wheat flour and mix again.
To prepare the batter, beat a couple of eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, sour cream.
Add flour and mix. Send the chicken strips to the batter.
Pour breadcrumbs into a saucer and roll chicken pieces in them, from all sides.
Put the blanks in a frying pan, in preheated vegetable oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side over low heat.
Serve nuggets better hot or warm, with sauce and fresh herbs.
