Today I will share with you a recipe for a delicious, healthy and not at all high-calorie homemade shawarma with chicken, which will not harm your health and damage your figure. I don't use dressings and sauces in the recipe, as all the ingredients are quite juicy by themselves.
Ingredients
- Lavash (thin) – 4 pcs.
- Chicken fillet - 600 g
- Avocado - 2 pcs.
- Tomatoes - 4 pcs.
- Bow purple - 1 pcs.
- Lettuce - 8 pcs.
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Paprika (ground) – to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Curry - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken fillet, cut into small slices, marinate for 20 minutes in a mixture of ground red pepper, curry, salt and olive oil. Then fry the meat in a grill pan on both sides until golden brown or bake in the oven.
Cut the avocado, remove the bone, cut the flesh into slices. Also chop the tomatoes. Finely chop the onion.
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves with paper towels.
Assemble the shawarma: put lettuce leaves on a thin pita bread, then avocado and tomatoes, add chopped onion and pieces of fried chicken fillet. Tightly roll the shawarma into an envelope.
Lightly heat the PP shawarma in a grill pan on both sides and serve to the table.
