A hearty snack is prepared according to the principle of shawarma, only the filling can be any. Chicken or turkey are most often used. I suggest you try my version of the sandwich roll. Eat it for breakfast, take it with you to work or on the road.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 400 g
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
- Cabbage - 150 g
- Mustard - 2 art.l.
- Mayonnaise - 100 g
- Vegetable oil - 40 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Lavash (thin) – 2 leaf
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.
Add mustard and set aside for 30 minutes.
Put on a preheated frying pan with oil and fry until tender. On average, it takes about 15 minutes.
Chop the cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes.
Mix the chopped vegetables with mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
Spread the pita bread on the table, lay out the fried fillet and the billet with vegetables.
Turn the sides inside and roll up the roll.
Grill the finished sandwich roll until browned on both sides.
