The main “feature” of Hawaiian traditional poke is fresh fish marinated in soy sauce. I suggest a little departure from the classic recipe and cook poke with juicy chicken teriyaki. I think you'll like this option too.
Ingredients
- Fig - 1 glass
- Chicken fillet - 2 pcs.
- Tomatoes - 1 pcs.
- Cucumbers - 1 pcs.
- Mango - 0,5 pcs.
- Corn (canned) – to taste
- Teriyaki sauce - 3 tbsp.l.
- Soy sauce - to taste
- Sesame - for decoration
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fry chicken fillet with teriyaki sauce until tender. Cut into pieces.
Boil the rice, place it in deep serving plates, pour soy sauce over it, add chicken pieces on top.
Cut cucumber into thin slices, tomato and mango into small pieces. Without stirring, send the vegetables to the rice plates. Add the corn.
Garnish the finished poke with chicken sesame or finely chopped herbs and serve with soy sauce.
