Who said that shawarma must be meat? I have met delicious options with fish and even cheese. But most of all, of course, I was surprised by the vegan shawarma. Contrary to my expectations, it turned out to be very tasty and satisfying.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes.
Put on a preheated frying pan with oil, sprinkle with salt, spices and fry until tender.
Slice cucumbers and radishes.
Peel the onion, chop and mix with lemon juice.
Spread the pita bread on the table, smear with apple mayonnaise.
Lay out the fried potatoes, cucumbers, radishes, onions and roll up the envelope. If desired, the finished shawarma can be lightly browned on the grill.
