Do you like spicy snacks? Then you will like the recipe for shiitake mushrooms in Korean. The dish is prepared with carrots, lots of hot pepper and garlic. For a special taste, you can add a little fish sauce, and honey is allowed instead of sugar.
Ingredients
- Shiitake - 300 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Cilantro - a couple of twigs
- Rice vinegar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground ginger - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Shiitake boil for 30 minutes in salted water, discard in a colander and rinse thoroughly.
Cut hot pepper, peel from seeds, chop.
Grate the carrots on a special grater.
Pour hot oil, sprinkle with spices, sugar and mix.
Chop the cilantro and garlic.
Mix shiitake mushrooms, carrots, coriander, garlic and hot pepper.
Add rice vinegar, salt and mix well. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
