Delicious, budget and healthy snack for every day. Prepare sandwiches with liver pate for breakfast or serve during the day for a snack. For cooking, ordinary products are used, which you can easily buy at the nearest store.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver - 300 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Cream - 100 ml
- Butter - 40 g
- Nutmeg - to taste
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- White bread - 200 g
- Milk - 500 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the liver and pour cold milk for 30 minutes.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, put the onion and fry until transparent.
Add the liver and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Pour in the cream, sprinkle with salt, nutmeg and simmer all together for another 5 minutes.
Puree with an immersion blender until smooth.
Cool the pate, spread a thick layer on the bread and serve.
