I want to share one original falafel recipe – with the addition of peas. It acquires the same bright pea flavor, so it will surely appeal to all lovers. Otherwise, the cooking process is almost the same as the classic one. I'll tell you more later!
Ingredients
- Peas (crushed) – 250 g
- Ginger - 20 g
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Cilantro - 4 twigs
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Onion - 1 piece
- Baking powder dough - 0.5 tsp.
- Breadcrumbs - 4 art.l.
- Couscous (ready) – 5 tbsp.l.
- Cumin (ground) – 1 tsp.
- Turmeric - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas overnight, and then drain all the water.
Randomly chop the herbs, garlic, chili, onion and ginger. Beat everything together with a blender.
Add couscous, spices and baking powder, and mix the mass. If it is not thick enough, add flour.
Form balls, roll in breadcrumbs and deep fry until beautiful color.
