Since we're going to cook without onions, let's replace vinegar with lemon juice. Such carrots turn out softer and more tender. I usually use this recipe when there are a lot of guests at the table. In this case, I'm sure that everyone will like the dish.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Grate the carrots on a special grater.

Add sugar, salt and spices. Stir and set aside for 15-20 minutes.

Heat the vegetable oil well in a frying pan and pour it into a bowl with carrots.

Add the juice of half a lemon and garlic passed through the press. Stir, cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
