One of the most unusual meat rolls that I have tried is khanum. Today I will tell you how to cook it yourself, and even immediately with potatoes. It took me a while to figure out the recipes, but now I can share a proven version.
Ingredients
- Flour - 320 g
- Water - 130 ml
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Beef - 400 g
- Chicken fat - 50 g
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Onion - 300 g
- Ground coriander - 0.5 tsp.
- Zira - 0.5 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Knead a soft dough of sifted flour, salt and warm water. Let him lie down for 20 minutes.
Chop the meat, fat, potatoes and onions very finely. Mix and season.
Roll out half of the dough into a thin tortilla, spread the filling evenly and roll up a tight thin roll.
Do the same with the second half.
Put the roll with a snail in a manty bowl or cook it in a steamer in any other way.
Cook the khanum for a couple of 40-45 minutes.
