For the first time the word "Julien" was mentioned in a book by French chef Francois Massialo. He used the term to describe finely chopped vegetables, and to this day it's more about technology than about specific products. So let's have Julien with a crab today.
Ingredients
- Crabs - 300 g
- Cheese - 100 g
- Porcini mushrooms - 200 g
- Sour cream - 4 tbsp.l .
- Wine (dry white) – 30 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the mushrooms for 20 minutes until tender. Just defrost the frozen ones.
Cut them into pieces and fry until tender.
Put the mushrooms and chopped crab meat in the molds.
Mix sour cream, wine and some grated cheese. Add spices if desired.
Pour julienne sauce and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees.
