This type of sushi is one of the most popular. In the original, California rolls are prepared with crab meat. I didn't have one, so I used red fish. In my opinion, such a replacement is quite acceptable.
Ingredients
- Round rice (boiled) – 250 g
- Red Fish (low salt) – 200 g
- Red Caviar (flying fish) – 100 g
- Avocado (large) – 1 piece
- Cucumbers - 100 g
- Rice vinegar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
- Wasabi sauce - 1 tsp.
- Nori - 2 sheet
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the avocado in half, peel, remove the stone.
Slice the fruit pulp and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Mix boiled rice with vinegar and set aside for 10 minutes.
Chop the red fish and cucumbers.
Spread out the sushi mat, lay out a thick layer of rice and smooth it out.
Add a nori leaf, brush with wasabi sauce, lay out the fish, avocado and cucumbers.
Roll up a tight roll, using a mat to give the desired shape.
Roll the roll in the caviar of flying fish and slice.
