For Japanese salmon rolls, it is best to use shiitake tree mushrooms. They have a completely different taste, which fits very harmoniously into the culinary traditions of Asian cuisine. So I advise you to try it at least once!
Ingredients
- Nori - 4 of the sheet
- Round rice - 120 g
- Water - 240 ml
- Rice vinegar - 1.5 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Salmon - 150 g
- Shiitake - 100 g
- Fish caviar - 4 tbsp.l.
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
- Avocado - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise (Japanese) – 4 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the rice in boiling water until tender. Mix vinegar, salt and sugar, and season it.
Shiitake mushrooms thinly slice and fry. First soak the dried ones in water according to the instructions.
Thinly slice the cucumbers and avocado, and leave the fish in strips.
Put a layer of rice on the nori sheets, leaving one edge free.
From the opposite edge, lay out the entire filling. Add some caviar and Japanese mayonnaise.
Roll up tight rolls with a mat and cut with a wet knife.
