I love dried fruit compotes for their bright, rich, almost concentrated taste. This drink made from dried apricots and prunes is very different from the one made from fresh garden fruits. And you can also cook it at any time of the year.
Ingredients
- Dried apricots - 200 g
- Prunes - 200 g
- Sugar - 150 g
- Citric acid - 2 g
- Water - 1.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak dried fruits in boiling water for 10 minutes and rinse.
Boil water with sugar. Add dried fruits and cook for 15 minutes.
Add citric acid, remove the compote from the heat and let it stand for an hour under the lid.
