For a festive table, instead of the usual herring under a fur coat, you can cook a "Royal" one. In addition to the usual ingredients, crab meat and a little red caviar are added here according to the recipe. This combination of flavors is simply delicious!
Ingredients
- Herring (low salt) – 2 fillet
- Crab meat - 150 g
- Beetroot (boiled) – 200 g
- Potatoes (boiled) – 200 g
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Carrots (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 180 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Iceberg lettuce - 3 leaf
- Parsley - 2 twigs
- Red Caviar - 2 art.l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the herring, onion and crab meat. Grate beets, potatoes, carrots and eggs on a coarse grater.
Put lettuce leaves, a layer of herring, onions and potatoes on a wide plate. Pepper, salt and smear with mayonnaise.
Next lay out the eggs and carrots. Add salt, pepper and mayonnaise again. Spread the caviar, beetroot and crab meat evenly on top.
Decorate the salad with parsley, islands of red caviar and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
