I hasten to share with you another simple, but very tasty recipe for pickle. It is prepared with champignons and pearl barley in chicken broth. It is better to take small mushrooms. With them, the soup looks more beautiful and there is no need for slicing.
Ingredients
- Pearl barley - half a glass
- Cucumbers (salty) – 3 pieces
- Champignons (small) – 200 g
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Allspice - 2 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken broth - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the pearl barley and champignons thoroughly.
Chop cucumbers, peeled potatoes and onions. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Pour the pearl barley broth, add bay leaf, black and allspice. Cook for 30 minutes on low heat.
Fry onions and carrots until golden brown in vegetable oil.
Pour potatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers and roast into a saucepan with pearl barley. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add salt, turn off and leave for 15 minutes under the lid.
