The combination of currants and gooseberries is not quite usual in itself. And it can be made even more interesting if you take two types of currants. Moreover, in this recipe I propose to do without black, so that its expressive taste does not drown out the rest.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 400 g
- Red currant - 400 g
- White currant - 400 g
- Water - 2.5-3 l
- Sugar - 150 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Go through all the berries, rinse, cut off the twigs and cover with sugar for 5 minutes.
Fill the berry with hot water and bring to a boil.
Cook the compote for 10 minutes on low heat.
