French cuisine has given us an incredibly wide variety of sauces for all occasions. One of them is berblanc sauce, the recipe of which I will share with you further. Technology is especially important here, so follow the step-by-step instructions.
Ingredients
- Onion - 0.5 pieces
- Wine (white) – 100 ml
- Thyme (or rosemary) – 2 twigs
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp.l .
- Butter - 100 g
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Wine vinegar (white) – 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the onion and fry until soft in olive oil.
Add wine vinegar and wine. Add thyme leaves and simmer all together for 5 minutes.
Strain the sauce thoroughly and put it in a water bath.
Add the butter piece by piece and stir when it melts.
Whisk the berblanc with a whisk until thickened.
