There are two main ways to diversify the classic pesto – make it with different greens or with different nuts. This time I suggest trying to cook it with almonds. It turns out very tasty and interesting! Nuts need peeled and fried.

Ingredients

  • Basil - 1 bundle
  • Parsley - 1 bundle
  • Almonds (cleared) – 70 g
  • Parmesan - 50 g
  • Olive oil - 70 g
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Salt - 2 pinches
  • Ground black pepper - 2 pinches

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut off the stalks of parsley and basil.

Dry the almonds in a frying pan without oil.

Put all the ingredients in a blender and chop the pesto.
