In the season of sweet and juicy oranges, this chicken salad will definitely not leave anyone indifferent. The most difficult thing is to carefully separate the slices from the films to get a kind of orange fillet. To do this, I advise you to use a thin sharp knife. Otherwise, everything is simpler than simple – even a novice cook can cope!
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Orange - 1 piece
- Lettuce - 150 g
- Almonds (chopped) – 1 handful
- Olive oil - 1 art.l.
- Dijon mustard - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings (for chicken) – 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken fillet, chop, roll in spices and fry on both sides until golden.
Peel the orange, separate about a third and squeeze the juice out of it for dressing. Cut the rest into fillets.
Coarsely pick the salad leaves, cut the chicken into strips and put the ingredients in a plate. Sprinkle chopped almonds on top.
For dressing, mix orange juice, olive oil and Dijon mustard. You can add another spoonful of honey.
